Stuck in your point of view? Let’s talk!

In our current environment, characterized by oppositional discourse, it is useful to pause and explore the human tendency to dismiss conflicting points of views and get “stuck” in our own point of view. In this highly experiential workshop, we work with the notions of neutrality, equanimity, polarities, and role theory, drawn from the Lewis Method of Deep Democracy, to explore how to listen to viewpoints that are radically different from our own. Participants will be introduced to effective approaches for working with divisive issues that have the potential to fracture a group and undermine effective leadership.
