Networked Leadership: A Systematic, Strategic Method for Helping Clients (and You!) Build, Sustain, and Benefit from Networks

February 21, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Massachusetts Bay Organization Development Learning GroupNetworks make a difference. But many don’t understand how to nurture their networks in order to gain results. Additionally, people can become overwhelmed by the size of their networks and the many ways available to connect with their contacts.

This session moves beyond anecdote and guesswork to the science behind networking. We draw on insights from researchers and practitioners in the social sciences to learn about the networking practices of high performers. We dispel the myth that people who want strong networks should never eat alone and, instead, we learn about the simple actions that significantly contribute to network health. We learn simple network inventory and assessment tools that coaches and consultants can use with their clients to help them manage their networks. Participants will leave with tools and techniques to help them, and their clients, build networks in a smart, strategic way.
